《卫报》（The Guardian）27日报导，中国驻英大使刘晓明即将卸任长达10年职位，《南华早报》推估将由外交部副部长郑泽光接任、挽回中英冷关係。
据报，现年64岁的刘晓明，自2010年起担任驻英大使，相较平均4年的中国使节任期来说，已身居该职位最久任期，而中英关係也在他任内经历2015年习近平访英的高峰后便逐渐下滑。
